Do I need to book an appointment to come in? No, it is not necessary to book an appointment However, it is advisable, as on a busy Saturday this will allow us to allocate a member of staff to you. When trying on gowns, allow yourself at least 2 hours.
When should I be looking to choose my gown? Approximately 12 to 18 months in advance of your wedding. Once you have found your gown in the bridal shop of your choice, you should order immediately to avoid disappointment as dresses are frequently discontinued.
What size am I in a wedding gown? You could be 1 to 2 sizes larger than high street clothing, this is nothing to be alarmed about. Always take the advice of the shop concerned on the size advised.
How do I pay for my dress? Once the deposit is paid (50%), most bridal outlets will normally have a monthly payment plan of between 3 and 6 months, for the remainder of the balance.
How soon do I need to book my fittings? We will contact you when it is necessary to do your fitting. This is normally 2 months prior to the wedding date.
What is required for a dress fitting? You will need the correct shoes and underwear to be worn on your wedding day.
Fittings We have a professional seamstress in-house to undertake the fittings.
Underskirts Underskirts can be hired or purchased. This is something you can make a decision on at the time of your fitting.
Accessories Accessories can be purchased separately with a delivery time of 8 weeks. However it is advisable to purchase your accessories at the time you purchase your gown, this enables you to see the finished look.
Bridesmaids Bridesmaid gown delivery time is approximately 20 weeks. However they should be chosen just after the purchase of your wedding gown. This will enable you to go forward and choose everything else for your wedding to co-ordinate with your colour scheme. |
